1480 Commonwealth Ave, Unit 15-B was a charming unit on the top floor of an apartment complex in Brighton. The unit was relatively small, with a smaller living room but a large and light-filled bedroom. I knew there was potential to make the space beautiful, as long as I got the staging layout right in the living room. In order to maximize the living room’s potential, I spent time selecting the right furniture pieces and playing with the layout so that at least 2 people could comfortably enjoy the space, and have a desk to work at as well. In doing so, I wanted to support the listing agent in expanding the buyer pool beyond investors, so that one person or a couple could see themselves living there and be excited by the prospect. Ultimately, the condo sold after 5 days on the market for $4k over the asking price. In fact, the condo sold for the highest price for a 1-bed condo in the building in the last 5 years!
Client Testimonial
"Marissa did an amazing job staging my one-bedroom condo. She included lovely artwork and plants among the perfectly placed furniture. The apartment looked so stylish I barely recognized it. I wish I had decorated it half as well when I lived there!"
